Hannah McCollester is a former teacher who believes in the power of education - whether in the classroom, the yoga studio, or elsewhere - to transform lives and help us all reach our own unlimited potential. She graduated from Sage Yoga School and became certified by Yoga Alliance in 2017, and has since taught classes ranging from Beginner to Advanced, Restorative to Power, with a focus on mindful breathing, meditation, and providing choices/options in every flow to allow each yogi to make choices aligned with the needs of their own body. Originally from Indiana, Hannah graduated from the University of Virginia and got her Masters in Educational Leadership from Arkansas Tech University. She then spent eight years working in classrooms in Arkansas in Stuttgart, Pine Bluff, and Little Rock before selling most of her belongings and departing for South America with just a backpack and a yoga mat. She taught and practiced yoga in Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, and Ecuador before returning to Little Rock last year. She is currently investigating decolonizing yoga, cultural appropriation and yoga, and racial consciousness and yoga. Her other interests include running, reading, Bullet Journaling, traveling, and politics.
