Twisting & Sacral Integrity with Sean Tebor
September 21-23, 2007

Twisting and revolved asana postures are among the more sacred in yoga, for their powerful capacity to purify the diaphragm, kidneys, heart, and lungs. And yet the sacrum and her union with the spine and pelvis are often compromised in a multitude of ways. In this weekendworkshop focusing on the art and science of twisting, we will look deeply into the nature of these poses, and the reality of sacral structure and stability. We will explore the value of twisting with innovative asana techniques that stabilize the sacrum, while opening and strengthening the spiral body. Learn to use twisting postures to ground the pelvis and low spine, while freeing the house of the heart, upper chest, shoulders, arms, and neck.
Sean Tebor draws from classical yoga systems and his passion for core anatomy to inspire students to experience true form within their personal experience.
