While in Houston, Wesley received certifications in Chinese herbology, basic foundations in Ayurvedic medicine, and  aromatherapy. He completed a 6 month Internship with Dr.  Murta Champa, a Tibetan and Ayurvedic healer, and conducted research on traditional  Indian Herbology at M.D. Anderson in  Houston. Over the last several years he has cultivated a close  teacher student relationship with  David Crowe, the famous herbalist,  social activist, and author of In Search of The Medicine Buddha. Wesley is currently working toward completion of his naturopathic degree. 
His mission is to offer his knowledge and compassion to those who  wish to participate in their own healing and continued well being.  He  emphasizes in his work that herbal medicine and the ancient  healing  systems have a scope that is much broader than that of  curing  disease, a scope that cracks the doorway into one's relationship with the planet and the cosmos, and one that can thereby provide insight into the spiritual dimensions of health. His work at this stage is in the specific areas of nutritional and herbal consultations, to help students and the general public find and maintain a balanced and  healthy lifestyle.
